Korean video game holding company Krafton today surprised its fans by releasing the Battlegrounds Mobile India Beta version. The Battlegrounds Mobile India beta version is now available on the Google Play store for pre-registration.
Smartphones having Android 5.1.1 or above and at least 2 GB support the Battlegrounds Mobile India Beta version. PUBG players can now download the Android Package (APK) to access the Beta version. The announcement was made by PUBG game developers on social media platforms and more slots for the Beta version will be made available soon.
If you are a PUBG lover and want to download the Battlegrounds Mobile India Beta version, then you are at the right spot. The players can leave the Beta testing option and can download the public version once it is available.
Step 1: First you need to install the ‘Tap Tap’ app and open this https://www.taptap.io/app/202837 link to get access to the BGMI Beta download page.
Step 2: Now, download the game (702MB) and if asked further, enable ‘Install from Unknown Sources’.
Step 3: You need to open the downloaded game and give all the necessary permissions. Now select your preferred ‘Resource Pack’ (HD/Non-HD)
Step 4: In the next step, you have to open successful download of all the game files. Follow the necessary instructions when you will be asked to restart the game.
Step 5: Log in using any preferred social media platform and open the game. You will be asked to create a new account.
Step 6: Now, you will have to transfer your old data from your previous account. For this, login to your old account using your social media platform and allow the transfer. In the new version, your previous achievements and inventory will start reflecting.

The game will be available for players who pre-register over the next few days. Earlier, it was speculated that Battlegrounds Mobile India might come up with OTP verification and India-specific locations on the map.
Battlegrounds Mobile India comes with a certain set of restrictions for teenagers and players who are below 18 years of age. For the unversed, PUBG was banned by the Indian government in 2020 due to data privacy concerns under the provisions of the Information Technology (IT) Act.
